Coastal Villa Sketch Proposal

This concept proposal investigates how a coastal dwelling can balance openness to the sea with the practical realities of setback, abrasion risk, and privacy. The design combines a simple rectilinear plan with carefully sheltered outdoor rooms, allowing the project to maintain a strong visual relationship with the water while protecting core living areas from excessive exposure. The architecture is exploratory in character, but grounded in buildable logic and environmental response.\n\nThe study is equally concerned with experience and regulation. Circulation is organized to move residents gradually from the arrival edge toward framed views, while upper-level spaces are positioned to capture light and breezes without compromising the intimacy of sleeping zones. By testing multiple spatial options within a single coherent concept, the proposal provides a strong foundation for future refinement and discussion.
