Resort Site Planning Study

Developed as an early-stage planning study, this project addresses a large hospitality site through topography, view corridors, and a clear zoning hierarchy. Rather than beginning with building form, the work first establishes an intelligible framework of arrival, accommodation clusters, communal amenities, and service circulation. This allows the site to function as a complete environment rather than a collection of unrelated structures.\n\nThe planning approach is landscape-led, ensuring that built interventions preserve the strongest natural features and distribute activity across the site without visual clutter. Hospitality units are positioned to maximize privacy and orientation, while shared programs are grouped for operational efficiency. The study demonstrates how strategic planning decisions made early can significantly improve the long-term character and performance of a development.
